Dr. Vinod Sharma is a veterinarian by profession, having an experience of more than 37 years in Animal Health Product Industry. He has widely travelled across the Globe. Dr. Sharma originally belong to Delhi and residing in Mumbai since 1990. He is happily married. His wife is a renowned Astrologer and Gemolgist and practising in Mumbai for the last 18 years. He has two children,one son and one daughter. Both are married and well settled in their lives. Entire family is lover of animals.

Dr. Sharma is a science graduate from Delhi University and has obtained his degree in Veterinary Science from Veterinary College, Mathura in 1972. He has done diploma in Marketing Management from a reputed management institute of Delhi. He undertook a 4 weeks Management development programme at IIM, Ahmedabad. He also participated in a 3 week International Management Course on General Management organised by INSEAD, Paris in collaboration with Global HRD of Hoechst AG at Macau (Hong Kong) .

Dr Sharma started his career with a hatchery, selling Hyline chicks, as customer service veterinarian. After few months, he was selected in Hoechst Pharmaceutical Limited where he was associated for almost 27 years. During this period he reached the top and headed the marketing division as General Manager. He controlled both domestic and export markets. He also acquired an Indian Biological Company, BAIF and was fully involved in the process of demerger from Hoechst Marion Roussel Ltd and coordinated in the formation of Hoechst Roussel Vet Pvt Ltd. in India and became the first promoter Director of the new company.

During 1999, when Hoechst Roussel Vet was acquired by Intervet . Dr Sharma opted to leave the company voluntarily and came back to India . In January, 2000, he joined Concept Pharmaceutical Ltd at Mumbai with an ambition to turn around the company. Here again he headed the Animal Health Division as Senior Vice President and worked for ten years, reporting to CMD. In Concept also he looked after both domestic and export business. With implementation of aggressive marketing strategy and by boosting the morale of field force he multiplied the business to 3 folds and Animal Health Division emerged as best performing division.in the company. Due to his able leadership qualities and rich experience, he was also appointed as Director in one of the concept group of companies.Finally he took retirement in 2010 enjoying extension of four year.
